Darius Christian Unveils Emotionally Charged Single,
"Entitlement" Ahead of His New Album

Darius Christian, the Los Angeles-based vocalist and multi-instrumentalist known for his inestimable musicality and soulful vocal skills, drops his latest single, “Entitlement,” on Friday, March 29th.

With a career highlighted by collaborations and tours with industry giants like Macklemore, Miley Cyrus, and Gwen Stefani, Entitlement further solidifies his reputation, offering listeners a glimpse into the depth of his artistry and his forthcoming album’s thematic essence.

Inspired by a devasting separation, Entitlement is a vulnerable telling of the pain and sorrow that ensued from a dysfunctional and spiritually harmful coupling.

What started as a very simple and delicate chord structure on the piano erupts into a brass orchestra-fueled anthem that catapults the listener into the details of the scene.

The lyrics are poignant, powerful, and brutally honest. Rather than point fingers, the protagonist finds the deeper meaning of the pain and the necessary tools to move on to a beautiful new life.

Discussing the new track, Darius shares, “Of all my songs, this one is by far the most personal. A raw unraveling based on my experiences with a gut-wrenching and fairly awful breakup. If you’ve been there, hopefully, this gives you the strength and power to stand up for who and what you are!”

Entitlement is an advance peek into his highly-anticipated album of the same name, set to debut this spring. The album features collaborations with renowned artists such as Eric Nally and Ray Mason; Darius Christian’s masterful blend of Power Pop, Soul, Funk, and R&B continues to showcase his unique yet highly relatable songs and musicianship. Entitlement is available everywhere on Friday, March 29th. > LISTEN HERE
